This is probably the shortest letter ash has ever submitted to the local paper. The backstory is it’s her response to a frequent contributor and self-righteous minister for whom she could practically write his material. In this instance, the gist of his editorial is that so-called civil liberties are undermining his brand of religion. Thus, the religious term “evil.”

By the way, ash didn’t read the piece, but merely the synopsis of it under the link to it. Apparently it captured his message accurately enough to be published – by the feuding editor.

Oh, and did ash mention this is the same correspondent who was allowed to solicit Christian prayer on ash’s behalf in the paper, which culminated in ash’s dispute with the editor? It’s nice to see her nemesis is still going strong.
