You will not be surprised to learn that the reverend ash compliments presides over a Unitarian church:



The Reverend Martin Woulfe’s rebuttal to the previous Saturday’s opinion piece was as effective in its gentleness as it was powerful in its subtlety.

The Reverend could not be more correct in framing the issue of gay marriage as one piece of the current civil rights struggle.  His implication that it will inevitably succeed as such – through much kicking and screaming by those who attempt to define it otherwise – is as perceptive as his religious faith is compassionate and inclusionary.

May we all live long enough to reflect on this lastest chapter in history with the same disbelief as we cast on the days of slavery and suffragism.  To those who continue to insist there is a difference,  the Reverend has amply demonstrated it is a difference without a distinction.
