Reading the “Ubersexual” article on Monday’s Health page was akin to gawking at the proverbial bad accident.
While I understand marketers’ interest in the newly-named phenomenon, I also wonder how soon the replacement “uber” for “metro” will be perceived as equally obnoxious and overused as the one it rendered inoperative. Silliness factor aside, I was struck by two of the winners: Donald “Don’t Stare At My Hair” Trump and Arnold “Egomaniac” Schwarzenneger.
Wow. How unoriginal, and how utterly undeserving. I can’t speak for other women but invoking these men’s images certainly provoked my “skin crawl” reflex.
What a waste of the reader’s time. Of course, the sexiest – “uber” or otherwise – men are usually the ones no one else ever heard of.
