Many thanks to the State Journal-Register editorial writers for your thoughtful and unbiased endorsements in the various local and national political races. Without this well-reasoned series of articles I would have virtually no basis on which to determined which candidates deserve my vote on Election Day.

I only wonder whether it might be easier – and more efficient – for all of us if you simply recommended a straight Republican ticket, from the president down to – well, whatever the lowliest office is, saving yourselves valuable space and us voters time. Once puncture into the cardboard and it’s all taken care of except for the referenda, which no doubt will be spoonfed us, issue by issue, in this upcoming last week before the election.

Oh, come on.
