Was wondering how long it would take some sourpuss (conservative) columnist to disparage the memory of George Harrison.  George Will certainly fits the bill.

Double Speak

If ash didn’t know for a fact this was written years ago, she would realize it by the content. She no longer has the resilience and stamina for researching the nonsensical.

Rush Limbaugh, in a recent cable talk show appearance:  "Conservatives are, by definition, compassionate.  They say to the citizen, 'We love you so much we want you not to rely on government for support.'"

If this one seems repetitive, it’s because local letter writers were voicing a limited repertoire of conservative talking points before she decided to ignore them altogether.

Those who hate our way of life can leave

In reference to two anti-war bash Bush letters, the Aug. 18 letter by Milford Franks and the Aug. 30 letter by Doug and Dee Hagan: I can never understand why folks like this who hate our way of life in America so much still remain here.
